First Look At The Travis Scott Cut The Check Jordan Collab
The all-new Travis Scott Cut The Check comes intertwined with all the buzz surrounding the artist’s rollout for “Utopia.” Unfortunately, we still have no official release date for Scott’s fourth studio album, but we know it’s closer than ever. Although rumors point to July 28th. But as we’ve grown to know La Flame, he’s pretty secretive about his drops. Whether it be sneakers or music, for that matter. Which brings us to the Travis Scott Cut The Check. We’re talking about his very first signature sneaker model that he’s been teasing since May!!
Travis Scott Cut The Check Teasers
For years now, Scott has had a very successful, very creative relationship with Nike and Jordan Brand. Don’t forget to grab their Jordan 1 Golf this October 13th! Moreover, The Jumpman recently took to their Instagram with a teaser of their newest brainchild. The clip shows both stars video chatting, and Travis says he’s “workin’ on that thang.” Jordan then says that whatever he’s talking about “looks nice,” telling the artist that he “did a good job.”
Besides, we all remember the unidentified pair he wore to “The Idol” premiere at the Cannes Film Festival last May. Since then, we’ve gotten zero information until just a few days ago. Thanks to @jfgrails on Instagram, we got our first official look. The “Cut the Check” will be Scott’s first fully original sneaker with Jordan Brand, following more than half a dozen collabs.
It looks like some sort of hybrid between the Air Jordan 1 Low, and the Nike Air Trainer. This is all thanks to the low-top silhouette and the strap across the foot. However, there are some unique elements here, including Scott’s signature backward swoosh. Furthermore, four colorways are currently scheduled for release. The first one showcases a stylish combination of Black and Multi-Color. The second colorway mixes Sail, Muslin, Black, and Fire Red tones, while the other two options feature Sail/Multi color variations (the black “strapless” version he wore in Canne), and Black/Multi color variations.
We haven’t received an official release date for the Travis Scott x Cut The Check yet. It’s expected that two of these colorways, Black/Multi-color and Sail/Black/Fire Red, may release later this year for $200, with a full range of sizes available. Other colorways might surface in 2024. Stay tuned to our ultimate sneaker news blog for official release date updates and further information.
