Nike Olympic Ad Leaves Kevin Durant Shocked & Pissed Off

First off, we’re not talking about just any NBA star here. Kevin Durant is a legend in the making. With 14 All-Star selections, two Finals MVPs, one league MVP, 11 All-NBA honors, and four scoring titles, KD is a scoring machine like no other. He’s got the size of a center and the skills of a guard, making him a unique force on the court.

Even now, Durant remains one of the league’s most dangerous offensive talents. Plus, he’s locked into one of Nike’s most expensive NBA sneaker deals with a lifetime contract. Nike KD sneakers have been killing it for ages, and we’re always hungry for ‘em!

So when Kevin Durant starts buzzing about taking shots at Nike, you know it’s big news. But what’s got KD riled up this time?

Nike Olympic Ad: “Winning Isn’t For Everyone,” But Where’s KD?

Alright, Nike Olympics 2024 ad, “Winning Isn’t For Everyone,” is one for the books! In this 90-second reel, Nike packed in the most popular athletes on EARTH! We’re talking heavy hitters like Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Victor Wembanyama, Serena Williams, A’ja Wilson, and Kylian Mbappé. The ad’s a total knockout, showcasing a winning mindset that’s off the charts.

But guess who’s missing from this epic line-up? Phoenix Suns’ own Kevin Durant. Yep, despite being a long-time Nike star, KD didn’t make the cut. And let’s just say, the dude’s reaction? It’s on another level of heated!

Kevin Durant: “Nike tell me, Am I a bad person?????”

Kevin Durant hit Instagram to voice his frustration after Nike excluded him from their latest Olympic ad. Gearing up for his fourth Olympics with Team USA and being a Nike athlete for 17 years, KD clearly wasn’t happy about the snub.

On his Instagram Stories, KD straight-up called out the Swoosh, posting a pic of himself in a Nike USA Basketball tee and asking, “@nike tell me, Am I a bad person????” He wasn’t done there. Durant followed up with a throwback photo featuring himself, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, and Kobe Bryant flaunting their 2012 Olympic gold medals, captioned, “Been wit yall every step of the way @nike.”

Next up, KD shared another blast from the past with Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green, and Harrison Barnes from the 2016 Olympics, writing, “Even during the quarantine Olympics @nike.”

If Team USA clinches gold this year, KD will become the all-time Olympic basketball leader with four golds, adding to his 2012, 2016, and 2021 victories. Nike’s stayed mum on why KD was left out, but honestly, we’ve got a lot to say about this put-off.

Kevin Durant Nike Olympics Campaign Clash: Is It KD’s Health?

You’ve probably seen Team USA crushing it in their Olympic warm-ups against Germany, Australia, and others. And speaking of crazy performances, LeBron James is out here showing no mercy with his moves. But wait, where’s KD in all this?

The real talk is that KD’s calf injury kept him out of all five of Team USA’s exhibition games. Some folks are saying Nike might’ve pulled the plug on including Durant in their Olympic ad because of his health hiccups.

But don’t sweat it too much, KD fans; he’s been keeping us in the loop, saying he’s making progress every day.

Plus, it’s worth noting that LeBron’s the only current Team USA player rocking the Nike Olympics ad. With other stars like Jayson Tatum and Devin Booker also MIA, it seems Nike’s ad game always leaves out some big names. Still, KD’s exclusion stings, no doubt.

So, what’s next? Well, you gotta keep your eyes peeled for Nike’s move, or lack thereof. Meanwhile, if you’re a die-hard KD fan looking to score some cool kicks, you’re in luck. Big releases like the timeless Nike KD 4 Nerf, Nike KD 4 Aunt Pearl, and the new KD17s are dropping soon. Therefore, make sure you know how to secure these goldmine releases with this quick-and-easy guide. See ya later, fam!
