Day of the Dead Shoes: Let the Celebrations Begin!
It’s officially the time of the year yo! We’re binge-watching The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Coco, Corpse Bride, and Hocus Pocus. And just like all these movies, we got shit going on in the sneaker industry. But before we talk about the Day of the Dead shoes, make sure you check out the Halloween kicks. There’s also the rest of the holiday Jordans that didn’t drop yet. Ya know, better late than never. Now let’s check out the Dia de los Muertos kicks!
What’s Dia De Los Muertos?
The Day of the Dead is, in short, a celebration of life and death! It originally started in Mexico, but people celebrate it today in different places, especially if they’re of Mexican heritage. On this day, people remember their dead friends and family. They don’t mourn them though! Instead, they celebrate them since death is a natural part of the life cycle. You can read more about the holiday here!
Day of the Dead Shoes: Celebrate in Style
Because sneaker brands are always working towards inclusivity, the public is getting awesome kicks! If we get a Halloween and Christmas drop, we should also get Day of the Dead shoes. So naturally, Nike and Adidas are both hopping on to this colorful opportunity! Here are the kicks you’ll definitely wanna add to your collection peeps.
Nike Day of the Dead Shoes: Siempre Familia!
The Spanish phrase roughly translates to “Family Forever”. And this holiday we’re getting three different silhouettes inspired by the colorful celebrations. Sadly, the collection just dropped on Nike. But you’ll be able to catch the pairs on the aftermarket. Let’s check ‘em out!
Nike Air Force 1 Siempre Familia
The first pair on our list is a pretty classy take on the Air Force 1. The kicks feature a bold laser-etched orange leather with charcoal leather pebble underlays. This design is a nod to the nine levels of the underworld that the soul must go through before it reaches eternal rest. The pair retails for $110 and is worth $182 on the aftermarket.
Air Jordan 1 Mid Siempre Familia
This is probably the highlight of the pack! The upper comes mainly in black, and that gives a lot of room for imagination. The designs are a tribute to animals and spirits with a whole set of teeth on the toe box yo! The swoosh is the most colorful with arrows embroidery. Although it’s a mid, it’s definitely worth having on your collection. You can catch the pair for $180 on the resale market!
Nike Dunk Low Siempre Familia
Now, to the green gem of our list. This pair didn’t drop yet, so you better keep an eye on Nike SNKRS! The upper comes in a reptile-like green leather. You can also find an iguana print on the side of the heel! Finally, the look is complete with a blue swoosh and tongue. The pair is currently worth $400 on the resale market. That’s some pretty good money if you cop the pair for retail!
Adidas Hops in on the Celebration Train!
Okay, we mainly love Nike kicks, but this pair of Adidas Day of the Dead shoes is damn worth it. The D.O.N #3 Issue is a mega colorful take on the celebration! The front half is plain white with flowery graphics! But the black bit features the famous sugar skull on the tongue. You can expect these babies to drop sometime in November 2021, for $110. Although we don’t have any resale info, it’s worth having if you’re into colorful shit!
Cop the Dia de los Muertos Kicks and More with TSB
Even if you missed this drop, you can still catch more Nike drops with a Nike bot like TSB! But when you run a Nike SNKRS bot, you’ll need the right proxies to run it. We don’t wanna risk a Nike ban, do we homie? And always make sure you get some reliable accounts so your copping game goes strong. Good luck!
