So, let’s talk about hot kicks, shall we? In 2024, Awake NY and Jordan Brand came together and gave us two collaborative sneakers. The silhouette they chose was the iconic Nike Jordan Air Ship, which has a history of its own! Of course, the New York store took these joints and made them its own with cool branding and colors. You can check out how that went down right here. Unfortunately, this silhouette ain’t everyone’s cup of tea, and many prefer the Jordan 1 (understandably so, ya know).
But this time, the brands are going mainstream with the choice of silhouette. In fact, the Jordan 5 is one of the top 3 kicks for many sneakerheads. So now, Awake NY is bringing some New York flair to a crowd favorite, and that shit ain’t disappointing. The Awake NY Jordan 5 Arctic Pink is vibrant, colorful, and a statement piece all at once.
It all starts with the pink leather upper that you cannot miss, which sits on a basic black midsole and translucent outsoles. But the interesting part is that the design also features red in the detailing, like the shark teeth, tongue lining, and co-branding.
