As 2023 comes to an end, the 2024 sneaker lineup continues to expand. The latest addition to the lineup being the Jordan 1 Year of the Dragon. Following last year’s Year of the Rabbit collection, a brand new Lunar New Year celebration sneaker drops— this time, dragon-themed.

This Jordan 1 Low doesn’t only boast a range of culturally significant colors — such as gold, red, and jade, it also features leather overlays akin to the scales of the mythical zodiac animal.
The sneaker features a striking color scheme, but not like an “in your face” kind of manner. A neutral white leather cloaks the base and complements the “Oil Green” snake scale overlays spanning from the mudguard to the heel counter. Next, come the Swooshes in a shimmery burgundy red matching the laces, tongue tab, and embroidered Wings logo. As for the gold, it chimes in at the heel tab’s base and the tongue’s Nike Air branding.
