The new Off White Jordan 2 collaboration is everything we like about Virgil Abloh’s style. It’s not only about taking a pair of kicks and dropping his signature. He also makes us remember why we like that brand. And here, we sure as heck are remembering why we love Jordan Brand! Off White Jordan 2: Crazy Mashup of Cool and Retro!
We’ve already seen what Virgil Abloh can do, and that shit is for the books! From dropping a collection of ten Nike kicks that is worth a fortune to 50 different shades of Dunks. Our man really goes hard with his designs. And this time, he chose one of the most “obscure” Jordan silhouettes and gave it a new exciting life! The Air Jordan 2 history is a really interesting one because a lot of shit went down. The silhouette is Italian-made and the molds were lost at some point and then found again. So all in all it just feels like a shady pair, amirite?
And now, Virgil is dropping two different colorways of the Off White Jordan 2. The first is white and red and looks like the OG colorway. The second is in black and royal blue, not an OG, but pretty cool if you ask me! The kicks will come in low-top, with MJ’s signature on the side along with Abloh’s trademark text. That’s all okay and good, but what is really sick about this pair is the midsole! Instead of brand new midsoles, we got a yellowing and cracking design. If you look at it from a distance, it will look like it’s a pair from a couple of decades ago! Vintage-y!
Release Deets
The two new Off White Jordan 2’s will drop on November 12, 2021. These lit pairs will retail for $250. But they won’t be dropping alone! There will be a whole matching apparel collection to complete the AJ2 madness. But make sure you cop because they’re totally worth the flex and flip. On average, the white/red pair is worth $700 on the resale market yo! Meanwhile the blue/black Off White Jordan 2 can go for about $650. If that’s not good side cash, we don’t know what is!
How Can You Get the Off White Jordan 2?
Let’s get something straight, luck isn’t the way to go. The kicks are dropping on Nike SNKRS, and you know what that means peeps. It means you’ll need a powerful Nike bot that’ll get the job done.
